The Research Shop at the Community Engaged Scholarship Institute invites CSAHS graduate students to join the Bridges Out of Poverty Training.

Bridges Out of Poverty is a framework designed to educate individuals on what it means to live in poverty.
It focuses on the social and economic impact that poverty has on individuals and our community. Through a fun and engaging session, participants will be invited to look at poverty differently, understand the lived experiences of those in poverty, and explore the causes of poverty.

Bridges Out of Poverty helps students, scholars, organizations and communities to develop effective strategies to influence policy change, and can be an empowering learning opportunity.

This workshop will be delivered by Elaine Weir, Public Health Nurse with Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph and Bridges Out of Poverty Facilitator.

A limited number of tickets available for this event. Please register ASAP to reserve your spot.
