Public Washroom Project Featured by Guelph Today

The Guelph Lab, a collaborative partnership between the City of Guelph and the University of Guelph is currently undertaking a study that explores public washrooms in Guelph - where they're located, and when they're open.

This project was inspired by a general public desire for additional public washrooms, and is part of an ongoing conversation around accessibility, dignity, and equity in the City of Guelph. Municipally-run washrooms are open to the public, as compared to washrooms that may be available to customers only at local businesses.

CES is a “collaboration between institutions of higher education and their larger communities for the mutually beneficial exchange of knowledge and resources in a context of partnership and reciprocity" (Jordan, 2007).
