This resource list has been compiled for graduate students who are interested or currently using community engaged research practices and knowledge mobilization in their work. The list provided is not exhaustive but gives an insight into communities of practice, groups, associations, & societies, articles and presentations, external resource libraries at other institutions, University of Guelph & external dissertations and theses.

What is Public Innovation?

Public innovation is both the goal and the process of generating public solutions that frequently exceed what government can do on its own, but could not be achieved without the use of the levers of the State. It is a core mission of government - developing solutions to the challenges faced by a community that cannot be solved without some form of government intervention.
