Research Shop Assistant

Why I’m working with the Research Shop: Community engagement is important to me because I believe that in order the best research comes from working alongside folks who have lived experience in the area being researched. Ensuring the communities we are hoping to benefit or support are actively and directly engaged in the research process means that their perspectives and needs will stay front and center in our work together.

Program of Study: I am a senior PhD student in Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology, completing my dissertation under Dr. Stephen Lewis as part of the LEARN (Lived Experience & Action Research Network) Lab. My research is focused on developing a training for Residence Assistants to support them in responding well to students who self-injure or have a history of self-injury.
