Candace Johnson
Candace has expertise in global community engagement, and has organized events such as the Human and Environmental Justice in Guatemala Conference. She is also the instructor for the University of Guelph's Interdisciplinary Field School in Global Community Engagement: Pathologies of Power in Guatemala.
Candace is an Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science. She is interested and involved in initiatives in international education and pedagogies across borders; her research and teaching interests are focused on gender, health, and social policy in North America, Latin America and the Caribbean, and she is particularly interested in North-South political analysis and scholarly engagement.
