Why I am working with the Research Shop: I believe in the power of academic research to inform and enhance the important work that civil society organizations and service providers do for our community. By working with community partners, the Research Shop provides students with a wonderful opportunity to contribute to the Guelph and greater Wellington communities, using university resources to make a difference in people's daily lives.
Program of study: I am currently pursuing my PhD in Public Health and International Development, through which I will have the opportunity to investigate women's perceptions of household health and access to health services and resources across the final phases of the refugee process, specifically in the context of resettlement in Ontario.
