Details
On Tuesday, June 23 2015, the Institute launched its Engaged Practitioner in Residence pilot project with an afternoon open house. Georgia Simms gave a presentation on her background, her role as the first Engaged Practitioner in Residence (EPR), and the benefits of arts-based research and engagement. She reassured attendees that they would not have to dance, instead highlighting that this pilot year is a chance to investigate what dance, theatre, and performance can do in academic and educational contexts.
