Why I’m working with the Research Shop: The Community Engaged Scholarship Institute was a major component that inspired me to come to Guelph to pursue my graduate studies. I am working with the Research Shop because I have always been passionate about working to make a positive influence in my community, particularly with vulnerable populations. I believe that community engaged scholarship is an excellent opportunity to build relationships between organizations and academics, while bettering programs and services for affected groups.
Program of Study: I am a Masters Candidate in the Political Science department, specializing in Public Policy and Administration. My research bridges political economy and public administration literature as I explore factors that contributed to the development of the Universal Basic Income Pilot Project in Ontario.
