Melisa Choubak
Research Shop Project Manager
Why I am working with the Research Shop: I love being part of various community-based research projects in order to help make a positive contribution to communities, especially marginalized ones. I share this passion with the wonderful members of the Research Shop - a team that bridges research and community in a creative, innovative, and respectful manner.
Program of Study: As a PhD candidate of Applied Social Psychology, my dissertation research focuses on the intersection of multiple identities and bias. Specifically, I am interested in how bias towards immigrants can be shaped by their ethnicity, gender, and sexual orientation.
