Applications Open for Guelph Lab Social Innovation Initiative
Applications are now open for The Sandbox, a graduate-level experiential learning opportunity created collaboratively by the Guelph Lab and the John F. Wood Centre. The Sandbox pairs graduate students with community organizations to develop high-impact social enterprises. The program aims to help graduate students from any program learn how to launch and grow a social enterprise while making a positive impact in the Guelph-Wellington community. During the program, students work closely with mentors and a local community organization to identify business opportunities, assess their viability, and launch a new social or environmental initiative.
The program begins on September 13th and ends December 6th. Students who are interested are encouraged to apply. Submit your application to Sam Laban, slaban@uoguelph.ca by 9:00am on Tuesday, August 31st. Interviews will take place on September 1st and September 2nd.
