Student Positions Available: KMb Assistant & Research Shop Assistant

The Community Engaged Scholarship Institute (CESI) is hiring two students to join our team. CESI is a research and teaching support unit in the College of Social and Applied Human Sciences bringing together campus and community skills and resources to address community research priorities. Our work enables community-university collaborations that positively impact our partners and the wider community.  

The following positions are available for 2021-2022:  

• Knowledge Mobilization Assistant 
  • Supporting knowledge mobilization projects, capacity development and product creation (including design)
• Research Shop Assistant [Immigration Projects]
  • Supporting community engaged projects, with a specific focus on projects related to newcomers/immigrants.

Hours of work are between 5-10 hours per week from October 2021 until May 2022, with possibility of extension. All work will be done remotely. These positions pay $22.50/hour.  

Duties, required skills and experience, and application instructions are specific to each position and listed in the postings attached below. Training will be provided to the selected candidates. These positions are open to students from across the University of Guelph; graduate students preferred.
