Join our team! The Guelph Lab is hiring one graduate student for the following position:
Accessibility, Diversity and Inclusion in Local Politics Research Assistant
- Reviewing existing literature related to diversity and inclusion, civic/public engagement, deliberative democracy, and policy development. This position will work closely with City of Guelph staff to identify new practoces and policies that will support diversity and inclusion on the City of Guelph's "Accessibility Advisory Committee."
This position will require a time commitment of up to 20 hours per week until the end of August, 2022. It is anticipated that most work will be done remotely with possibility of in-person work, in keeping with public health considerations.
Duties, required skills and experience, and application instructions are listed in the posting attached below. Training will be provided to the selected candidates. These positions are open to students from across the University of Guelph.
