This virtual panel discussion explores evidence-based hope and environmental solutions. Hosted and moderated by 2022-2023 Kinross Chair in Environmental Governance, Stephanie Cairns, it features a keynote address by Dr. Elin Kelsey, scholar and thought-leader for the evidence-based hope and climate solutions movement.
Panelists include:
- Abhay Singh Sachal, Canadian humanitarian, environmentalist, and activist and founder of Break the Divide Foundation, a non-profit that connects youth around the world fostering empathy and understanding to inspire local youth action projects in communities.
- Jacquie Hutchings, chemical engineering graduate from the University of Waterloo and co-founder of Friendlier, a reusable food packaging company.
- Jane McDonald, senior vice president of the advisory firm Climate and Nature Solutions with 20+ years of experience as an executive in the environmental sector.
- Trennon Wint, bachelor of science student at the University of Guelph studying wildlife biology and conservation and applied geomatics.
