Decolonising Archives Research Retreat Featuring CESI Research Associate Dr. Melissa Tanti

We're pleased to announce that Dr. Melissa Tanti, a Research Associate at CESI, is guest speaking at the Decolonising Archives research retreat between April 11-15 in Wales, UK. Scholars and doctoral researchers will gather at the retreat to discuss the importance, method and impact of archives and recovery research and the need to decolonize its practices.

Specifically, Dr. Tanti will share best practices for public engagement in research, based on her experiences leading community-university collaborations with CESI. She will also run a workshop that will have participants reflect on the stakeholders in their research and the methods in which they can be engaged. We wish her luck with her presentation!
