Why I am working with the Research Shop: Living in Guelph from the age of 3, I have always made it a mission to always be connected to the Guelph community. Therefore, I am grateful for the opportunity to work with community partners, researchers and local organizations to address systemic barriers experienced by Guelph residents. I am also looking forward to bridging the gap between research and practice.
Program of study: I am a Master of Public Health student at the University of Guelph. My research interests include health promotion and community engagement, as they pertain to marginalized populations. I am particularly committed to addressing systemic barriers that contribute to health disparities for certain at-risk communities.
