How can visual communication help you better share your research?
Join Julia Krolik from Pixels and Plan for a 1-hour introductory workshop discussing best practices for creating and effectively disseminating research-based visual materials. This hands-on session will help you plan and develop impactful visuals.
In this workshop, you will learn:
- How to engage your audience
- Some key principles of design and their application in the context of knowledge mobilization
- Useful tips and resources to facilitate the transformation of initial ideas into beautiful visual communication materials.
Participants should bring a laptop and have access to Powerpoint (2013 or later). A portion of the session will be dedicated to hands-on practice and product development.
This workshop is offered twice in the morning of May 21, 2019. Please register for the 9:30-10:30am session or the 11am-12pm session.
