Emily De Sousa

Why I am working with the Research Shop: I am very passionate about knowledge mobilization and making information accessible to audiences outside of academia. Working with the Research Shop allows me to bridge the gap between academia and a variety of other industries while making a positive impact on my community.

Program of study: I am a MA student in Geography working to understand the contribution of fisheries to global food security and nutrition and how to ensure seafood security for coastal communities in the wake of a changing climate.
