5 Student Job Opportunities at CESI: Apply by February 17!

The Community Engaged Scholarship Institute (CESI) is hiring 5 students to join our team. CESI is a research and teaching support unit in the College of Social and Applied Human Sciences working in collaboration with community organizations to address community research needs. Our work enables community-university collaborations that positively impact our partners and the wider community.  

The following positions are available:  

• Accessibility Assistant 
  • Supporting ongoing accessibility formatting activities 
• Community Engaged Teaching and Learning Assistant 
  • Supporting existing CETL projects and partnerships and contributing to the development of the program 
• Global Engagement Research Assistant 
  • Supporting ongoing research on global engagement and international experiential learning 
• Knowledge Mobilization Assistant 
  • Supporting knowledge mobilization research, capacity development and product creation (including design)
• Research Shop Assistant 
  • Supporting the general activities of the Research Shop, including research and research-related activities 

Hours of work for all positions will be an average of 10 hours per week for approximately 8 weeks, from March 1 2021 to April 30, 2021. All work will be done remotely. Pay will be based on the University of Guelph student rate range and commensurate with experience.  

Duties, required skills and experience, and assets specific to each position are listed in the postings attached below. Training will be provided to the selected candidates. These positions are open to students from across the University of Guelph; senior undergraduate/graduate students preferred.
